All Villans is a new series where we interview community groups that support Aston Villa FC. In our first episode, Roisin and Frankie speak to Samuel Timms, the Founder and Chair of Villa & Proud, an LGBTQ+ supporters network for Villa fans.
Samuel explained the work Villa & Proud do for LGBTQ+ football fans. He also told us where the idea for Villa & Proud came from, how they are working to help make football more welcoming to LGBTQ+ fans, and how Aston Villa itself acts as an ally to Villa & Proud.
Samuel also took part in our Perfect XI feature and told us why Juan Pablo Angel could be the man to play as striker for Villa’s all-time best team.
