Aston Villa have attacked the summer transfer window at speed. Steven Gerrard’s side have completed the signing of Coutinho from Barcelona and swiftly followed that up with the free transfer of Boubacar Kamara.
The highly-rated Frenchman left Marseille at the end of his contract and was heavily linked with Atletico Madrid, Manchester United & West Ham. However, he has made Villa Park his new home by signing a five-year contract. Kamara credited the influence of Gerrard as one of the defining factors behind his decision.
